Dr Hamied is a holistic and integrative medicine advocate and practitioner. He graduated from Baghdad medical school ,Iraq in 1997. He finished advanced training in critical care then pain medicine. Eventually he migrated to Australia in 2007. After finishing the Australian equivalent exams, he started his advanced training in Chronic Pain Management at Prince of Wales hospital in Sydney. He then did 2 years training in Emergency Medicine also in Sydney.
In 2015 he became fully qualified general practitioner and moved to the Gold Coast in 2016. In 2020, he finished clinical Master degree in Pain Management and Neuroplasticity from Sydney University. Dr Hamied provides supervision and training to trainee doctors as well as medical students.His professional work is solely around evidence-based proactive and preventative management.
