Dr Samaher Al-Furaiji

Dr Samaher Al-Furaiji has more than 20 years of medical experience, including many years working in hospital emergency departments both in Australia and overseas.

Her background in emergency medicine supports her calm, clear, and methodical approach to complex cases and urgent care situations.

Dr Al-Furaiji has been working as a GP on the Gold Coast, caring for patients of all ages. Her areas of interest include chronic disease management, women’s and men’s health, paediatrics, mental health, urgent and acute care, preventive health, sexual health, and travel medicine.

Outside of work, Dr Al-Furaiji enjoys a vibrant and active life. She lives with her three boys and spends her free time with her beloved dogs and talkative parrot. She enjoys cooking, beach walks, and making the most of the Gold Coast lifestyle.
